Household and Nanny Payroll Services

Our expert legal and nanny payroll team has been working with parents and nannies since 2011. We provide expert nanny payroll and household employee payroll services, complemented by excellent customer service. All you need to do is agree on the salary you’ll pay, provide us with some basic details and our nanny payroll team will do the rest. You can use our salary calculator to work out your costs as an employer.

It is also worth remembering that by law you must issue an employment contract and enroll eligible employees into a workplace pension scheme.

How we work

You will be allocated an account manager who will look after your nanny payroll and workplace pension needs. As part of our nanny payroll services, we will be on hand to help with calculations, make amends to your arrangements and provide you with access to your payslips and HMRC forms. They will also be your liaison point for HMRC when required. Our in-house legal team can help with your employer legal obligations, including employment contracts.

PC Payroll & Pension services

  • Registering you as an employer for PAYE with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC)

  • Assist with any HMRC correspondence in relation to your PAYE account if we are your authorised agent

  • Calculating gross pay from net pay or net pay from gross pay

  • Calculating holiday entitlement and sick pay

  • Providing telephone support and advice on any employment pay issue

  • Providing P45 if an employee leaves

  • Submitting Annual Return – P35

  • Claiming for small employer’s relief, if applicable

  • Providing details an full payment guidance in respect of all tax and NI payments to be paid directly to you

  • Dealing with any maternity pay and reclaim

  • Calculating holiday entitlements and sick pay

Other Services

  • Coronavirus Job Retention/Furlough – our furlough service includes legal letter of intent, payroll calculations & HMRC claims.

  • DBS certification – our team can obtain an enhanced DBS certificate on behalf of your nanny. Your nanny will need to enable them to work for you.

  • Background checks – our team can run a professional background check for your potential new employee including checking references.

  • Employment contract – by law you are required to provide your new employee with a legally binding employment contract. Our in-house legal team can create a bespoke employment contract on your behalf.
